When I went through the darkest day of my life, in a fox-hole, fighting for a marriage, I looked over and you were there. I never think of you without fighting back tears and deep emotion because of the things you said to me in one simple over-the-phone "counseling session" that literally made the difference between a broken and a mended home. I will gladly refer people to you, knowing they will be in good hands.

By the way my friends who have other friends going to counselors say they see so much more progress in us and that you give so much wiser advice than any of their counselors...That really made me feel good.

When I think back on these past few months your face immediately pops into my head and I cannot thank you enough for your guidance, your advice, your ear…everything. I honestly feel like I picked up a good friend through this.

I have to admit sometimes when I am reading some of these books I can hear your voice telling me some of these same things. The real me thanks you and feels very blessed for you helping me find myself. I am still struggling, but winning most battles with God's help and the tools you gave me!
